The fall program for the NYNGA is scheduled for October  17, 2020, at 590 State Route 14, Penn Yan, NY 14527.  Please contact Sara Tyler, sara@tylerseneca.com, if you would like to offer a presentation, or come with items to give away or to sell.

Disease Resistant Hazelnut Cultivars

Prof. Thomas Molnar, from Rutgers University, was going to give a presentation on four new disease resistant hazelnut cultivars at the 2020 NNGA Conference.  The New Jersey field trip included the Foggy Bottom Tree Farm Nursery, where these trees are being propagated.    There has been a large demand for these trees, but the nursery is taking orders for the fall of 2021.  If you would like to learn more about the cultivars, see  https://www.dropbox.com/s/diy1ponnyv3yiw4/Rutgers%20Hazelnut%20update%20Feb%202020.pdf?dl=0

To place an order for 2021 or for more information, contact Don Knezick at Don@Foggybottom.farm
